Time management is one of the most useful skills you'll gain from online learning. Keeping your home, work, and school lives balanced depends on you buckling down when you need to and planning ahead. Time management is a skill, and like any other skill, it takes practice.

Getting used to working on the go gives you more flexibility in doing your assignments. Our learning management system Canvas works on mobile and tablet, so you can do homework anywhere.

You're not in this alone. If you know work or personal life will keep you from getting an assignment done, email your professor and explain the situation. Southeast Online courses are taught by real people who understand life happens.

Your professor isn't the only one you can reach out to. Use your personal support network and don't be afraid to ask for help. Ask someone to watch the kids while you work on a big assignment or have a friend to read over a paper you've been staring at way too long. Don't forget your advisors are also a great resource when you need assistance.
